The beginning of my journey started in my early 20âs. I had experienced various major life changes and became a mother for the first time.
I then suffered from postnatal depression which manifested into quite a few years of anxiety & depression. Back then depression wasnât recognised in the same way it is now. [over 30 years ago]
Through a journey of self-help, finding ways to support my body, mind & soul, I recovered through self-healing. This has led me on a lifelong, continual growth and learning journey, this now is my true passion to help and guide others.
Alongside my career as a Hairdresser and owning my own Hair & Beauty salon for over 30 years, I have great empathy, care & understanding working with clients. Part of my services I offer in my business is supporting clients with Hair loss which has given me a deeper understanding of people in a vulnerable and emotional state. Also working with and training all ages of colleagues. All these experiences have given me a great understanding of people.
I feel as a Hairdresser I have worked on the âoutside aesthetics of a personâ. My passion now is to now work âwithin the personâ, working now from the inside out . This passion I am excited to say has led me to become a qualified âJay Shetty certified Life Coach â This process itself has been a voyage of deep inner work on myself, while learning the skills and framework required to be a purposeful coach.
