Why am I not receiving any emails?
Chances are, you haven't chosen to opt-in to emails from Shelley Booth. This is a GDPR feature that we must comply with. Don't worry though, it's an easy fix!
Login in to your profile on www.ShelleyBooth.co.uk and click your avatar (little circle with either your photo or a silhoutte of a person) at the top right. Choose settings then make sure the box that says 'Please email me about new products and promotions' is selected. Once this is done, click save at the bottom of the page then email us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can resend anything you have missed out on.

Is there an exercise I could do instead? Had to adapt due to fitness and injury level.
We can adapt every exercise / technique to suit any level of fitness from beginner to advanced levels of fitness and movement.
What do I drink on the plan?
You can drink tea, coffee, water or herbal tea.
What if I don’t like the meals for that day?
You have the flexibility to switch the protein. For example, replacing red meat for a fish of your choice!
How much water should I be drinking per day?
2-3 litres per day, drinking regularly through the course of the day and not all in one go!
Can I have alcohol at the weekend?
No - as per the plan. Alcohol will undo the fat-adaptation process, ultimately setting you back. The first 4 weeks should be used as a DETOX, coming away from toxins.
What about snacks?
Follow the meal plan. No snacking. If you follow the meal plan, you will not get hungry!
If it works why do people ‘have’ to do more than one shred?
People find that they love the positivity of the group, the camaraderie of the tribe and are inspired to stay focused because they feel so healthy and happy. So, they want to stay part of it.
I am (relatively) fit already, will you push me enough?
I will push EVERYONE! No matter how fit!
Will the eating plan suit a Coeliac?
The programme is very much designed to alleviate inflammation, gut health issues and pain – internal and external. Many women who are Coeliac feel significantly better once they begin the Feel Look Be Formula.
If I can’t get an organic product like cheese or cream, can I have non-organic or do I have to leave it out all together?
Organic produce is toxin/chemical free and therefore the best option. However, if you cannot find organic or you decide you don’t want to buy organic, then of course that is a personal choice. The programme will still work for you.
Is too much meat (i.e. smoked bacon etc.) not bad for you?
Everything ‘too much’ can be a bad thing, but in moderation it can be health-promoting. You’ll never get ‘too much’ of anything on the programme that might be a health risk.
I have Crohns. Will the meal plans be suitable?
Crohns is a very personal issue and must be treated sensitively. Careful consideration and personal alterations to the meal plan may be required to avoid foods which may aggravate or exacerbate your condition. Of course, Shelley can do this and it works very well for people with Crohns.
Do I eat the fat on the bacon?
Yes! Good fats are good for you! Scaremongering and misinformation have frightened people, not to mention made them FAT due to eating everything BUT fat! Good fats of course. On Shelley's programme, she will explain what good fats and bad fats are, and also explain the science behind all of the macronutrients and micronutrients which your body requires to reach optimum health.
Am I not too old and unfit to get involved?
You're never too old for ANYTHING! Shelley has people in their 70s on this programme as well as people in their 20s. Everyone thrives!
Is it flexible enough to work around my other life commitments?
The plan is completely flexible. The live sessions and workouts are where you can talk to me directly and Shelley can answer any questions. All live sessions are available on replay to watch at a time that suits you.
Do I have to do workouts? What if I have an injury?
You do not need to work out. In fact, many women lose lots of weight before they have the confidence to take part in the workouts. Shelley meets you where you are and goes at a pace you are comfortable with. Once you start to see and feel the body-shape changes and feel the confidence boost, you’ll start to work out because you’ll feel motivated to do it. It happens every day!
How does the eating plan work?
The eating plan is provided 4/5 days in advance of a new week starting giving you time to buy the produce and get organised and prepped for the week ahead. Everyone has the same meal plans. Sensitivities can be catered for, but generally everyone is on the same page and eats the same things.
Is the programme suitable for vegetarians?
Yes, as long as you are prepared to switch animal products for your choice of protein.
Is the programme suitable for vegans?
From a nutritional point of view, unfortunately, Shelley doesn't believe the programme would suit. She doesn’t include legumes, grains or seeds (grain and soy) to name a few, which makes the meal plans too tricky for vegans to work with.
What do sugar withdrawal symptoms look like and how do I deal with them?
Sugar addiction is real and a huge issue. Therefore withdrawal can cause people to feel all sorts of symptoms from irritability, lack of sleep, dizzy spells and more but be reassured they pass after a day or so. Some people, quite surprisingly, do not get any symptoms. However, when we make the switch from a sugar ‘burner’ to a ‘fat’ burner we can feel flu-like. This is often referred to as the ‘keto flu’ although this is not strictly a ketogenic-style lifestyle. Initially however, withdrawal can show similar symptoms.
How does the programme help counter menopause symptoms?
So much of the education covered in the programme is around perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms. But more importantly, this education allows women to understand (at last) why their bodies react in ways they once did not understand. The meal plan and nutritional science understanding transforms how women feel, reducing symptoms and alleviating stress and tension from within. The reports of such changes are very well documented in the Reviews section of the programme.
Do you have to be fit to be able to take part in the workouts?
Not at all. Shelley will cater for everyone's needs.
Why is this for women only?
Shelley believes that women share and express themselves better when they feel safe and when they have the support of other women. Accountability is a huge component of the programme and therefore before-and-after pictures are shared showing body shots in underwear etc. It isn’t for everyone but some people do like to share and feel accountable and need to feel safe to do so.
The second reason is that women are often the people in the household responsible for the cooking, shopping and planning of family meals and wellness initiatives (or lack of). Therefore when a women undergoes the challenge of the Feel Look Be Formula, she feels empowered to take that back to her family and share her knowledge and the health benefits. This way, the whole family is inspired and ultimately becomes healthier too. The programme is a family-friendly concept which Shelley herself promotes heavily. It’s a win-win for the whole family!
Can my family eat the same meals as me?
Yes! The meal plans are nutritious and perfect for the whole family to enjoy. The recipe book is also very family-friendly.
What if I don’t like fish?
You can replace it with your choice of protein.
What's the difference between this and a purely Keto diet?
A Keto diet is more limited in terms of the vegetables and fruit included whereas the Feel Look Be Formula is much more flexible.
What should I do if I have an injury and am struggling to meet the 10K steps / 5K walk or run / suggested exercise?
Do what you can. There is no pressure to do anything which makes you uncomfortable or that is just not do-able. You'll have complete support from the start.
If I can't get organic will that ruin the plan for me?
It won’t slow weight loss down, but eating organic, as far as Shelley is concerned, comes with many more added benefits which will enhance the power of the programme. Organic is not essential.
If I can't get organic dairy, (e.g. cream) should I exclude altogether or is non-organic okay once in a while if needs be?
All dairy must be (where possible) organic. Otherwise avoid.

Roughly how much weight can I expect to lose in a 4-week shred?
This really depends on the person, but for example, some women have lost 12Ib in one week.
If I don't need to lose weight but want to tone and build muscle will this still work for me?
Absolutely! Please read the reviews. Clients are getting leaner than when they were attending the gym 5/6 days per week!!
Are diet drinks OK?
No, absolutely not.

Yes. Organic milk, coconut milk or other nut milk.

Yes. Gum with xylitol or stevia but not with aspartame.
