A pinch and a punch for the 1st of the month.

March is here and with it, the promise of Spring. I don’t know where you are reading this from but here in bonny Dundee, we have been enjoying some hints of Spring over the last few days and it has been wonderful! It has been so good to see more people out walking and cycling – enjoying the beautiful fresh air.

Spring always makes me think about washing away the old and welcoming the new. It is ingrained in me from those days as a child where the beginning of March always meant one thing…. Spring cleaning!

We’ve been doing a bit of this here at Shelley Booth HQ as the team and I discuss ways to take the business forward which will certainly invite change into the fold. I don’t know about you but, I am one of those (perhaps rare) people who LOVES change. I am beyond excited to see where we can take things over the course of the year and to share those changes with you, of course!

Speaking of change, this month we introduced two new members to the team. We now have Gill Shaw, Suzy Ballantyne, Lesley Duncan and Megan Mailer in the support team and I just know that each of these girls will bring their own magic to what we do here and really shine and excel as part of my team. You will see them across our various groups and be able to speak to them in email ([email protected]). 

Not to mention, we have a BRAND NEW Facebook Group launching TODAY - Optimal Health by Shelley Booth! I am super excited about this one. This group is for women who are interested in achieving or working towards optimal health. If you are curious about what I do and how I do it, this is the group for you. It is free to join and you don't have to be a client.

We are now in our final week of February’s Feel Look Be and, just like every other month, it has flown by! I always get a massive swelling of pride watching these women take control of their health and really flourish as they find themselves again.

My mission is to empower as many women as possible with the knowledge that they need, not only to improve their health but to live the life of their dreams too. I do this by taking the time to simplify the science and make understanding your health simple. This, alongside mindset education, nutrition and fitness is what cements these new habits and creates a sustainable lifestyle.

This month has been all about self love. I think especially as women, this is something that we don’t practice deeply enough. When women come to me, it’s often with a story of spending the last decade looking after everyone else that they have entirely neglected themselves and now they don’t recognise themselves in the mirror. I want to change that. 

If we don’t fill our own cups, we can’t fill anyone else’s and that’s a message I hope women take with them even long after they leave me.

As we move into March – where we celebrate both Mother’s Day in the UK and International Women’s Day – it seemed only fitting that we celebrate the women who inspire and motivate us and I am encouraging all of my clients to step into their own power and be their own superhero. It’s going to be an amazing month, I can just feel it!
